The Real Estate Pulsimeter expects the number of projects, operations and prices to rise again this year.
\nThe Malaga Real Estate Pulsometer meter, which presented its XXVII edition yesterday, forecasts that the upward trend seen in the market will allow the start of some 10,200 new homes in the province this year, with an increase of 16.1% over the figures of the previous year. It is also estimated that the completed projects will increase this year by 31.4%, reaching a total of 4,515.
\nThe Pulsimeter, prepared by the Chair of Real Estate Research of the Real Estate Business School, also estimates that in 2019 it will increase both the number of sales made (by 7.6%), as well as the average value of the sales (by 4.8%), from 180,107 euros to 188,796 euros.
\nThis study is based on the analysis of the latest official figures published by bodies such as the INE, the Ministry of Development, property registrars, professional colleges and banking study services, together with fieldwork via surveys, focus interviews with customers and market operators. As for the stock of homes available, in the province of Malaga the decline would continue, a 34.7% planned for this year, which would leave this indicator in a total of 462 homes.
\nThe University of Malaga and Real Estate Business School presented a collaboration agreement that will allow both to carry out joint research and provide practical applications to the real estate and construction sector. This collaboration will be developed through the Chair of Real Estate Research, based in the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences.
\nAt the presentation event were present with the rector of the University of Malaga, Jos\u00e9 Angel Narv\u00e1ez, the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Eugenio Luque; the director of the Chair of Real Estate Research, Rafael Becerra, and the director of the Department of Finance and Accounting, Julio Di\u00e9guez Soto. Jos\u00e9 Antonio P\u00e9rez, director of the entity, participated in the Real State Business School’s Real Estate Chair, along with other managers.
\nThe Chair is established as a specific structure for the execution of teaching, academic and research activities within the real estate world. Real Estate Business School will sponsor these activities, both in teaching and research.
